Meet Sharyle,

Design has always been a part of my life.

As a little girl, I was constantly rearranging my mom’s living room or creating seating vignettes in my grandmother’s landscaping. That instinct never left me. I’m the family member who bringing home the family heirloom to fill my home. I like being surrounded by beautiful things; moving pieces from one room to another, coming up with new ways to display my favorite keepsakes.

I’ve never been afraid of color, and I appreciate all design styles—from modern and contemporary to traditional and eclectic. I believe a home should feel collected, personal, and truly reflective of the people who live in it.

My portfolio includes both residential and commercial design, along with custom-designed pieces ranging from farmhouse vanities and drapery rods to stainless steel furniture.

This business is also a family effort. My husband, Bryce, is a computer analyst by day and helps with installations after hours. My son, Justin, a senior at the University of Nebraska studying chemical engineering, lends a hand whenever he can.

My faith is the foundation of my business. It is built on Matthew 5:16—“Let your light shine.” I strive to reflect God’s love, kindness, and truth through my work and in every client relationship.

I’ve included a glimpse into my own home—where there is always a project in progress—as well as a few of my favorite things.

I look forward to learning about your favorite things and how we can bring them to life in your home.

My Favorite Things

Wallpaper
I’m thrilled that wallpaper is back—and better than ever. Today’s designs offer incredible quality and are easier to remove, making them both beautiful and practical. As a dealer for Thibaut—the oldest wallpaper company in the United States—I carry a curated collection of their sample books in my studio. I’m currently deciding what to wallpaper next in my own home… I truly love it.

Trays
Glass, wood, and especially silver—trays are one of my favorite styling pieces. They come in endless shapes and sizes and can be used anywhere. I hang them on walls, style them in bathrooms, or even place one on my front door for an unexpected statement.

Exterior Statues
While designed for the outdoors, many of my concrete statues find their way inside. I’m drawn to their timeless, classical look and substantial feel. They bring an unexpected element indoors—and that’s exactly why I love them.

Books
The older, the better. I have vintage book sets scattered throughout my home, and nothing compares to the richness of aged leather. I often use them to elevate objects, layer styling, or add depth to a space.

Vintage Furniture
Well-made pieces with a beautiful patina are simply irreplaceable. I love mixing vintage with new—it creates a layered, collected look. Side chairs are a personal favorite; they’re perfect for stacking books or displaying folded towels. You’ll often find a few special pieces in my studio at Red Door Designs.

Pillows
If you ask my family, they’ll tell you—pillows are my weakness. They’re the easiest way to transform a space. I love switching them out seasonally, and lately, pillow covers have been my go-to for a quick refresh.

Plates
Plates aren’t just for dining—they’re for decorating. I display them along my staircase, use them to hold jewelry in my bedroom, and, of course, fill my kitchen plate rack. Like pillows, I enjoy rotating them with the seasons to keep things feeling fresh.
